Join us in shaping the future of classical radio and digital media.Position Overview:As an Audio Producer at Classical California, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing the production of diverse audio content across radio and digital platforms. Your creativity, leadership, and technical prowess will drive the creation of compelling programs, podcasts, and special initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Content Production:

Lead the production of audio content adhering to USC Radio Group's standards. This includes audio mixing, editing interviews, and managing concert broadcasts and edited series.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize advanced audio editing skills, particularly in Adobe Audition. Experience in live concert broadcasting and scheduling is advantageous.

Community Engagement:

Cultivate relationships across USC Radio Group departments. Participate in editorial, membership, and community outreach activities, fostering audience connections. Interface with Bay Area arts organizations, conducting interviews and contributing to local cultural engagement efforts.

Resource Management:

Plan and procure production resources in collaboration with station management. Manage program budgets and coordinate with various stakeholders to support communication initiatives.

Innovation and Growth:

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Promote an inclusive environment that upholds USC's Code of Ethics, encouraging diverse contributions and creativity.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as a substitute for minimum education.

3 years of relevant experience in broadcasting, content production, or a related field. Combined experience/education as a substitute for minimum work experience.

Demonstrable leadership, creativity, team focus, good communication skills, and a strong ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.

Advanced visual digital editing and production skills.

Keen interest in emerging digital technologies.

Working knowledge of classical music.

Preferred Qualifications:5 years of relevant experience in broadcasting, content production, or a related field.

Proficiency in Adobe Audition
