Job Description: Perkins Coie is seeking a proactive and curious marketer focused on the implementation of marketing and business development to take on the role of Marketing Specialist. This specialist will be responsible for providing proposal support, supporting events and sponsorships, updating marketing materials, assembling awards submissions, maintaining databases and mailing lists, and other activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation. Provide dedicated proposal support and help develop practice-focused marketing materials. Work with the Proposal Team on larger proposals and RFPs. Update marketing materials and maintain experience entries and lists within the Foundation. Coordinate responses to practice rankings and submissions. Plan, organize, and coordinate practice marketing events. Be responsible for implementing and tracking event logistics, budget, invitation lists, invitation language, and RSVPs. When applicable, work in collaboration with members of the Events Team to execute events effectively. Track marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and practice clients/prospects in Salesforce. Collaborate with the broader Marketing Team to execute identified initiatives. Handling day-to-day requests and supporting general ongoing efforts of the practices. Perform other duties, as assigned.

This position may occasionally require travel.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Must be detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Strong project management skills to efficiently coordinate multiple projects and meet the needs of key stakeholders. Ability to work with all levels of personnel and diplomatically interact with difficult personalities. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Problem solver. Successful team player. Strong people skills. Strong abilities in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. General understanding of the law profession business model.

SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED Prior experience using Foundation or other proposal and experience software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as having a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in legal or professional services. Candidates having a general understanding of the law, project management, and event planning experience are preferred.

Colorado compensation range: $59,230 to $86,680 annually

New York compensation range: $68,730 to $100,570 annually

Washington State compensation range: $62,480 to $91,430 annually

Washington D.C. compensation range: $67,480 to $98,740 annually
