Job Description:

Education :Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field of study or equivalent years of applicable experience required

Work Experiences:6+ years of marketing experience in a retail, account services or agency practice in support of Fortune 500 sized direct to consumer company2+ years experience with integrated cross functional projects requiredExperience with marketing campaign management requiredRetail experience and marketing activation experience preferred

Skills:Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create thorough documentation and interface effectively with individuals at various levelsAbility to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneouslyCapable of working effectively with minimal supervisionStrong presentation skills, with the ability to independently and effectively lead and administer meetingsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and operate with a sense of urgencyProficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel

Responsibilities:Marketing business support for assigned store region to drive best in class performance in opening new store locations, protecting store traffic share against competitive retail pressures and working to find turn key solutions to scale grassroots marketing partnershipsServes as project lead and general manager for integrated new store marketing campaign planning, executions and measurement across market seeding, grand opening and sustainment phasesLeadership in the planning and execution of market share campaigns focused on protection from traffic share loss including competitive entry blunting campaignsManage agency execution of portfolio of grassroots sports and outdoors partners from definition and fulfillment of contract terms, invoicing and proof of performance measurementPartner with cross functional marketing and omnichannel teams to provide localization support for enterprise go-to-market campaign executionManage execution of assigned strategic partnerships across sports properties and outdoor conservation groupsWork as a team player with other store operations support teams to meet business objectivesOversee the budget for the assigned regions and support management of the total department budgets for Regional Marketing and New StoresIdentify and evaluate new marketing opportunities in the regionAnalyze and evaluate ROI/effectiveness of programs and grassroots/community partnershipsMaintain current knowledge on state and federal laws that pertain to promotions and events and partner with legal and real estate on proper permitting and landlord permissionsDevelop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rulesDuties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Attendance:Regular attendance requiredUp to 50% travel, as neededAbility to provide in-person support and coordination of promotional events on nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by business needsAbility to lift up to thirty pounds unaidedAcceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job dutiesAdhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
