Our team is focused on building solutions that serve the needs of customers across 200+ countries to easily find and buy products on amazon.com, with a specific emphasis on countries where we do not have an Amazon store or retail presence today.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead mobile growth, in-app marketing, and market research initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a bar-raising strategic lens for mobile growth campaigns and customer insights. They will be in charge of best-in-class marketing strategies that will drive mobile app awareness, discoverability, engagement and loyalty. They will own strategies and implementation of App Store Optimization, Paid App Marketing, First App Purchase incentivization, and in-app repeat purchases. They will also lead global market research initiatives to champion customer insights for the larger Exports team.

This is a high-visibility position with scope for creativity and self-development. The ideal candidate will use a customer backwards approach in proactively identifying key insights into customer perceptions, preferences and behaviors, and implementing actions to improve app installs, sign-in, and in-app purchases. You will work autonomously yet collaboratively, handle multiple large-scale initiatives, and deliver results that raise the bar. You will make recommendations, construct debates, and inform leadership decisions. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead mobile growth strategies across the marketing funnel to drive app install, sign-in, engagement and purchase.

• Own the planning and execution of App Store Optimization, Paid App Marketing, and In-App Purchase promotions.

• Design, analyze and optimize performance of mobile growth strategies, and share business impact and learnings across teams and levels.

• Support Product/Tech in rolling out new mobile app features and experiments.

• Lead quantitative and qualitative market research initiatives to fuel marketing and business strategies and planning for the Exports team.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of professional non-internship experience in marketing, product management, customer research, analytics, or related field

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling mobile app marketing programs

Experience conducting market research via agency partnership

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with driving customer growth through mobile app marketing programs (App Store Optimization, Paid App Marketing, In-App Purchase, etc.)

Experience with mobile marketing analytics tools like AppsFlyer and data.ai

Experience with designing and running marketing experiments

Experience with designing and executing end-to-end market research projects

Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Experience working with Product Management and Engineering stakeholders to define opportunities, scope requirements, and implement CX enhancements.

Experience in global marketing, ideally managing geographically diverse customer segments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

MBA or Masters in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Advertising or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
