The Manager, Communications Strategy and Execution for Corporative Initiatives will be responsible for leading the management, build, and enablement of core run-the-business communications for key corporate initiatives to ensure compliance, that stakeholders and partners are engaging in opportunities, and that we're delivering a world-class experience.

The person in this role needs to be an empathetic storyteller and strong writer who is able to both reactively respond and proactively strategize in a fast-paced environment. They will have the opportunity to work with company executives, subject matter experts and other stakeholders. They will also collaborate with a larger team of marketers and communicators as a senior writer, voice owner and editor to bring quality and consistency to our communications as we work to continuously improve how we add value to the business.

RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Manages the strategy and execution of GEICO's key corporate initiatives to develop those programs and meet business needs
  • Collaborates with business partner to understand and translate complex concepts into well-crafted memorable and emotionally relevant content and campaigns
  • Builds communications and materials that meet specialized needs while ensuring a compelling brand message across any medium, including internal and external channels
  • Supports business partners and establishes processes that'll build confidence and operational efficiencies
  • Provides leadership to a small team of Communication Specialists as a senior writer, voice owner and editor to bring quality and consistency to our communications
  • Tracks and reports out on progress of programs and campaigns
  • Demonstrates an understanding of GEICO's business and industry.
  • Adheres to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles
  • Meets attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have the following education or experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required, degree focus in English, journalism, communications, public relations, related field is preferred or relevant years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing communications and brand strategies
  • Excellent writing skills and a strong ability to communicate ideas and concepts creatively and concisely
  • Passion for finding new and creative ways to reach an audience
  • Ability to work across teams and departments in a highly collaborative way
  • Strong project management skills; can juggle and organize multiple priorities
  • Must be able to manage direct reports
  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Annual Salary
$86,000.00 - $154,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
