Job Description:

The Senior Shopper Marketing Specialist at Nestle Health Science will be responsible for the Shopper Marketing strategy, development, and execution of Omnichannel shopper activation plans for the retail channel (or select customers). This role will partner with the Sales team in developing and executing plans that influence shopper behavior along the path to purchase, while driving shopper loyalty and profitable growth for our brands. This role primarily supports the Costco and Sam’s Club account teams. This is also a remote-based opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Driving brands with shopper insight-led strategy and shopper activation plans at select customers using both in-store and digital (Omnichannel) executions along the shopper’s path to purchase in the given category/retailer.

• Understanding brand and retailer strategies/objectives and partnering with customer teams to develop and execute integrated customer business plans driven by strong insight led Omnichannel shopper programs that achieve customer, brand and company goals.

• Partnering with cross functional teams internally including, but not limited to: Brand Marketing, Customer Teams, Customer Strategy, Shopper Insights, Visual Merchandising, Category Management, Creative Solutions, Digital Activation, Media Services, Legal & Regulatory, and others, as necessary, to align objectives across all key stakeholders to enable the successful execution of shopper marketing programs.

• Developing clear creative briefs for internal and 3rd party vendors/agencies for creative and/or campaign development to enable successful execution.

• Identifying new and differentiating opportunities and vendors/agencies that drive awareness, trial, growth and consumption for Nestle Health Science brands.

• Supporting critical corporate and brand initiatives short term/medium term at assigned retailers to drive profitable company/brand goals and objectives including corporate scale events, themed events, brand innovation, and others.

• Working collaboratively with other Shopper Activation associates to share best practices by channel and establishing KPIs across various retailer-specific programs.

• Perform additional assigned responsibilities by the Manager of Shopper Marketing.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 2+ years of professional work experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry with relative experience in Shopper Marketing, Marketing (brand or customer), Shopper insights, Analytics, Brand Management, Category Development.

• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.

• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organizational and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).

• Must possess strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills.

• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision required.

• Must be able to use data and have strong storytelling skills to influence the decisions of the business and Senior and Executive Leadership.

• Experience within the Vitamin or Diet/Nutrition categories a plus

• Knowledge of digital marketing and conversion tactics a plus

• Willing and able to travel up to and including 5% based on the needs of the team and the business.

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
