(VBD) is currently seeking candidates in the Greater Seattle Area for a part-time
Architectural Designer / Project Architect (AD/PD) position. Candidates should have a least 7 years of professional architecture experience and have foundational knowledge in moving a project through all phases of the design process. This is a part-time / short-term position with thepotential to extend to long-term. This job requiresa hybrid work-from-home and in-office work model. Candidates MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA, USA.About the Role

The role involves architecture modeling, interior detailing, finish material research and sourcing, and drawing set production. The AD/PAwill work both collaboratively and independently to plan, coordinate, and document all design phases of the project.Core Roles and Responsibilities

Located within the Greater Seattle Area, Washington, USA.Bachelor degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience working on low/mid-rise multifamily projectKnowledgeable in building design and constructabilityProficient in RevitProficient in Adobe Suite, MS Office, and InDesign softwareEfficient time management skillsOrganization skillsAbility to work independently with minimal oversightAbility to express design ideas three-dimensionally and through design narrativeAbility to conceptualize and execute design ideas from design concept through documentation, specifications and installationExperience with FFE design and deliverablesStrong graphic presentation skills to communicate design ideasWillingness and ability to travel locally for project-related responsibilitiesAbout VBD
