The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing effective strategies that support the Credit Union’s products, member acquisition, engagement and retention efforts through digital channels (website, email, mobile app, online advertising, ATMs, etc.) and through digital media and advertising as well as text messaging.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Membership Acquisition and EngagementExecutes digital marketing plan designed to drive brand awareness, member acquisition, retention and cross sell, areas include but not limited to digital media, Monterra Credit Union’s public website and 1:1 digital banking marketingServe as the digital marketing -technical expert and successfully execute all digital marketing initiativesFacilitates digital advertising content (banner ads, video, landing pages, etc.) planning and development, advertising site selection, testing and optimization.Supports the creation and implementation of digital campaigns through traditional website development, SEO, SEM, social media and other emerging or relevant digital channels; liaises with the digital services, internal business partners (e.g.; IT), external vendors and agencies as neededOptimize campaigns and funnels to maximize efficiency and performance indicatorsData mine to create appropriate segmentation strategies, marketing programs, and testing concepts; continuously evolve sophistication, performance, and automation opportunitiesManage lead generation and conversion rate optimization for the website, including ideation, planning, testing, optimization, and reporting2. Reporting and monitoringReports analytics for all digital efforts and uses it as a core driver for decision making, investment prioritization and improving the user experience; shares trends and best practices with the Marketing team and othersTrack key performance metrics and report on them monthly (CR, CTR, CPA, value)Identifies opportunities to improve program performance, new growth opportunities and optimizes ROIMonitors digital channels for brand consistency, accuracy, effectiveness, traffic and engagement; leads ongoing improvements and liaisons with Digital Services as neededUtilize an ongoing “test and learn” approach to scale online marketing initiatives including A/B testing, search, retargeting, behavioral targeting, display and other toolsImplements suggested and approved improvements on the website based upon continual monitoring of SEO recommendations3. Execute special projects and events as directed and perform other duties as assigned.Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and laws enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Provides service that aligns with the Credit Union’s mission of delivering relevant products, services, and information aimed at increasing adoption and engagement.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing duties of the job, employee may be required to use frequent physical activities include sitting, standing, reaching, walking, talking, bending, and constant use of hands.Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.Employee may occasionally work overtime.These activities are not necessarily performed to the same degree and combination every day.Apply Now for Consideration!Monterra Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 3 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, benchmarks and best practices.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Significant knowledge of and experience in Google Analytics, SEM, SEO, Display, Social and Affiliate marketing.Proficient in MS office and basic web design (HTML, CSS) as well as in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Excel). CRM experience is a plus.Intermediate knowledge of graphic programs desired (Adobe Creative Suite).Proficient at analyzing complex data and metrics and interpreting actionable insights.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, facilitate constructive discussion and challenge opposing viewpoints when necessary.Great program development and project management skills; well-organized with the ability to multi-task.Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.Strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate graphic layouts for both style and impact.Strong time management, organizational, and prioritizations skills with the ability to handle multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.Conducts activities and interactions in a manner that promotes integrity, trust, and strong ethics, in order to protect the reputation of the organization and brand.Ability to speak fluently in Spanish is a plus.
