Posted Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 5:00 AMJob Title: Senior Director, Game Presentation and Video ProductionDepartment: Game Presentation and Video ProductionJob Reports To: Chief Marketing OfficerStatus: ExemptThe Senior Director of Game Presentation and Video Production will lead these two key departments for the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena, while also providing leadership to the organization’s content team members. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing, the Vice President of Corporate Sponsorship Service and the Senior Director of Broadcasting to deliver exciting, entertaining content to Predators fans and Bridgestone Arena guests while maximizing activation opportunities for the organization’s business partners. The position will also provide support and guidance to the leadership team at F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee, a sister property of Bridgestone Arena.Major Responsibilities/Activities:Oversee game presentation operations for Nashville Predators home hockey games – game night producer will report to this position. Position will not be expected to produce games regularly but will need to from time to time and should have experience in this area and comfort functioning in this capacity as needed.Manage an extensive full and part-time staff on game nights, including the public address announcer, in-arena host, organist, music DJ’s, bands and more.Oversee the selection of anthem performers, live music performances, DJs, and other entertainment elements.Oversee the creation of key documents for each game and some events, including but not limited to PA scripts, game formats, and timing sheets.Serve as the company’s liaison with the National Hockey League’s game presentation department, ensuring the adoption of league philosophies and compliance with league regulations.Lead the organization’s creative, production and storytelling team members with specific focuses on game presentation and video content for all mediums.Manage the organization’s video production team, providing dynamic content for game presentation, broadcasting, social and digital media, and hockey operations. Critical to this responsibility is providing candid, constructive (when needed) feedback to grow and develop staff members and drive them to success while furthering business goals and objectives.Represent the video and game presentation departments in internal and external meetings, including but not limited to activations, sales and marketing, leadership, and events.Lead collaboration with internal departments to develop elements and promotions that maximize fan experience while supporting internal initiatives and sponsorship activations.Develop and maintain annual budgets for both departments, tracking expenses on a monthly basis.Guide the creative and content teams each summer in developing a new, cohesive look and feel for the Predators in-game brand and feel, also leading the team’s annual media day shoot, producing elements and content to support that new look.Work closely with the organization’s broadcasters and television producers to ensure consistent content delivery and support to the team’s game broadcasts.Lead and produce Predators external live event programming – i.e. fan fests, watch parties, playoff events, etc.Work to lead and support other Bridgestone Arena events that require live event production.Work cross-departmentally to ensure content teams are supporting organizational initiatives (e.g., working with sponsorship, marketing, ticket sales, etc. to ensure alignment with business objectives).Administer the music library for the Bridgestone arena sound system.Perform other duties as assigned by management, including support for the management and events teams at F&M Bank Arena.Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university required.7-10 years’ experience in a related sports game presentation or video production role, with at least 5 years of prior management experience.Hockey experience preferred.Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and encouraging working relationships.Ability to manage several projects and persons simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure, problem solve, and maintain attention to detail.Proven strategic thinker, leader and communicator.Proactive planner with a sense of urgency, creativity and style.Knowledge of all aspects of video production such as pre-production, script writing, shooting, video and audio editing.Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus.Strong computer software background using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Possess a valid driver’s license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by employer’s insurance carrier.As a condition of employment, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driving history, and professional/character references.Essential Physical Functions:Required to work long hours on event and game days.Ability to clearly communicate with clients and coworkers.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.Ability to stand in an upright position for continuous period of time.Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.Walking, bending, carrying of marketing items and props up to 50 pounds.Ability to work at elevated heights, up to 110ft., on occasion.Exposure to bright lights, loud noise and extreme temperatures.Primary Equipment Used:Audio and video editing and dubbing equipmentLive Broadcast TechRoss XpressionMotion Graphics: Adobe After EffectsGraphics: Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopAudio Editing: Adobe AuditionBonus: 3D Graphics: Cinema 4DPreds Perks:
