From toys to t-shirts, console games, books, and more, our team brings our beloved brands and franchises into the lives of families through products and experiences that can be found worldwide, such as the Disney Store e-commerce platform, Disney Parks, local and international retailers, and Disney Store locations around the world.What You Will Do The Product Design Coordinator role supports the Product Design team in handling the product development process through the Online Product Approval (OPA) system, which involves the routing and processing of product approvals and coordinating communication with internal and external partners!The role also requires participation in internal and external meetings and providing general administrative support to the Product Design team.On a daily basis, you will:Manage the OPA folders and corresponding submissions assigned to the PD team members and route and process items in a timely mannerInitiate OPA onboarding, maintain database, and monitor contracts and amendments for vendors/licenseesProvide user support and any additional/new training for OPA and asset-related accounts such as BOXManage asset requests and general communication to vendors/licensees regarding updatesProcess incoming samples (opening boxes, keeping records of items received & delivering to the team)Manage all outgoing shipments, maintaining mailing lists and providing tracking informationManaging records/keeping notes of key stakeholder meetingsFile samples when required and assist in the maintenance of product storageProcess shipping invoices and other invoices as neededAssist with scheduling on-site and off-site vendor and licensee meetings and oversee logistics for large-scale eventsCreate and review a wide variety of documents such as organization lists, tracking forms, and various confidential documentsCoordinate and compile merchandising requests from various internal teams and Licensee partnersProvide additional tactical support for the Product Design teams as neededRequired Qualifications & Skills

Organized with data and projects for the Product Design teamAbility to understand and convey creative and constructive feedbackAbility to build presentations in PowerPoint or similar softwareProactive in reacting to and resolving the day-to-day needs of the PD team and Licensee partnersProfessional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent administrative using software such as Word, Excel, or any project/organization softwarePreferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the Toy industry preferredProject Management or Database softwareEducation

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experienceAdditional Information

The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
