An exciting opportunity has arisen at our global Headquarters for an accomplished Head of Marketing to lead all Marketing and Product Management activities globally.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Head of Global Marketing, you will lead the development and implementation of Sampled's Go To Market strategy, and will have the opportunity to build, shape and lead the Global Marketing Team incorporating Marketing, Product Management and Inside Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Strategy: develop and execute a global marketing and product management strategic plan, parenting with the global Commercial Team and the Executive Leadership Team. This plan should align with and support the broader company's strategic plan and growth initiatives.• Marketing: responsibility for the global marketing function, including activities that cover corporate communications (internal and external), branding, content creation, events, digital marketing, lead generation, partner marketing, and sponsorships.• Team management: leverage leadership skills and experiences to continuously improve the function, including talent, structure, processes, tools, and techniques.• Goal Setting: define specific goals for the marketing organization and measure the commercial and brand impact of marketing initiatives using well-defined metrics and KPIs.• Go To Market: understand the competitive landscape and define approaches to differentiate our value propositions in the marketplace.• Agency Management: manage relationships with agencies and outside marketing partners to accelerate marketing initiatives.• Partner marketing: collaborate with partners to generate demand for Sampled services with end-users in diverse markets.• Budget Management: manage the global marketing budget to plan.• Member of the Commercial Leadership Team and Sampled Senior Leadership Team.• Be an active champion and role model of the Sampled Core Values: Strive to delight our clients, move innovation forward, Accelerate your business, Rise together as a team, Transcend what is possible.• Support an environment of continuous improvement with an emphasis on relationship management, shared accountability, and open communication.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar field.• Significant experience, ideally 10+ years, in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry, including sales lead generation.• 5+ years leadership experience at Director level or above, including managing remote based team members.• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to set direction and develop the team.• Strategic mindset and high business acumen.• High level of project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust across the organization.• Ability to drive change and engagement.• Good knowledge and understanding of digital systems and tools such as CRM, SEO, marketing automation, and digital analytics.• Strong attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Flexible, can-do attitude, with a hands-on approach to completing operational tasks as well as developing and implementing strategy.• Able to be site based in Piscataway, New Jersey, with the ability to travel as needed in order to be efficient in the role.• Proficiency in developing reports and presentations to facilitate meaningful discussions, with clearly communicated analysis, findings, and impact.• Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to work independently, proven ability to work effectively with teams.
