The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a previous VP Marketing for a B2C online training and information products company, with experience in leading the company through significant revenue growth. This role requires a strategic leader who is also hands-on, capable of inspiring teams, and driving transformational change. The successful candidate will have managed a team of 6-10 direct hire individuals across various marketing functions, including SEM/SEO, email, CRM, performance marketing, creative, data analytics, eCommerce, and online sales funnels. Experience in creating online sales and digital marketing funnels, as well as developing new course curriculum and products that have generated over $5MM in revenue, is essential. Applicants should possess a strong understanding of marketing KPIs and business performance metrics related to customer acquisition and retention. Experience in the USA consumer market, particularly in professional training, adult coaching, mentoring, and eLearning, is a must. The role involves working with remote distributed teams, so the ability to manage teams across different time zones is important. The candidate should have a stable work history, with a minimum of 3 years in at least 1 or 2 companies, and be dedicated to personal development and coaching. A high level of education, such as a degree, MBA, or PhD, is also required.
