Beaverton, ORPay rate : $23-$26/hr, DOEResponsibilities:We are looking for a detail-oriented multi-tasker with effective communication skills and a basic knowledge of textiles and data management.You will be an important member of our palette management and development team who will support manage and consolidate apparel palette and manage effectiveness within material studio.You will gain knowledge of apparel material development, product creation and data analysis.You have a passionate drive to improve system and process, to collaborate with others and positively impact the teams you work with.You will be the main point of contact to advise on material test methods and drive integrity of test data and accuracy of the information in our PCX system.This individual will communicate with domestic and international partners to order materials, problem solve material testing issues and ensure each development stays on track to meet deadlines.You will pull materials and manage material samples within the library to support consolidation project.You will pull material data and perform data analysis to understand palette usage and identify opportunities for consolidation.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Apparel, Textiles or relevant combination of education and experienceEffective organization skills to manage physical palette material and data filesUnderstanding of the application of color on materialsKnowledge of apparel and material construction, including garment constructionEffective organization and multi-tasking skillsEffective information seeking-skills and a drive to make things happenAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse groupAbility to network and apply internal and external resourcesSelf-starter attitude and the ability to be a great teammate within a fast-paced teamProficiency with MS Excel and Adobe Illustrator5-10% travel requiredKnowledge of product creation process and the apparel businessAbility to clearly articulate goals and objectivesNice to have:Strong Excel & data entry skillsOrganizational skills
