The Job:

As the Marketing Director for the Northeast region at Curaleaf, you will lead the development of regional and state-level marketing strategies, executing plans that align with our central marketing framework while catering to local market nuances. Your visionary leadership will steer our regional initiatives through the intricate landscape of the regulated, high-growth cannabis industry, embracing its diverse cultural dimensions. This role encompasses the Northeast region, including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Maine.

What You'll Do:

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies across the entire East Region, encompassing Wholesale, Retail, Digital, Media, CRM, and Creative channelsDrive trade marketing strategy, collaborating closely with the sales teams on account and event activationCollaborate with and lead a team of marketing professionals to execute national and regional marketing initiatives, partnering closely with the national marketing team to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at driving market growth through analytical insightsCollaborate cross-functionally to create a differentiated product roadmap and deliver high-impact marketing support for launches, all while aligning plans with state revenue targets for optimal business growthStay informed on consumer trends and market dynamics to develop data-backed business insights and consumer strategies, leveraging competitive insights, community engagements, and strategic partnerships to identify valuable marketplace opportunities.Strategically manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximize ROIDrive KPIs focused on patient/customer growth and revenue targets, while expanding the product mix portfolioLead the strategic implementation of Wholesale/Trade/Customer Marketing programs to enhance Curaleaf brand awareness and drive regional growth objectivesPartner closely with core marketing teams to conceptualize campaigns, refine messaging, develop compelling content, enhance creativity, optimize promotions, and ensure the success of regional programsWhat You'll Bring:

10-12 years of extensive experience in Consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and Marketing, with a strong preference for expertise in Trade MarketingSolid understanding of CPG and marketing fundamentals, with expertise in the marketing mix including product, positioning, packaging, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with independence and resilience, while exhibiting strong leadership and project management skills to oversee timelines and cross-functional teams, ensuring meticulous executionAbility to utilize strong analytical skills to leverage data-driven insights for strategic business recommendations, demonstrating robust financial acumen and adept negotiation skillsConnecticut Hiring Range
