JOB PURPOSE

As the Marketing Coordinator for ACA, you will produce and execute integrated marketing campaigns to support all ACA programs, products and services (e.g., membership, events, advocacy, publications, webinars). You will be essential in ensuring the most relevant content is delivered to the right audience, at the right time and supporting our mission of advancing health and well-being through advocacy, community, inclusion and research.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator serves as a thought partner in the development of effective and innovative marketing campaigns, while working on a highly collaborative team and interacting regularly with staff across the organization. This individual will join a team of brand stewards, ensuring that all ACA communications and marketing materials are brand compliant. They will also coordinate all aspects of our email campaigns and provide support for social media campaigns, from scheduling, testing, getting approvals, curating and editing content and tracking performance. The Marketing Coordinator will be a key team member in building out a robust digital marketing strategy and program for ACA that brings our mission to life.

Key Responsibilities

Manage email marketing campaigns, including creation, testing, scheduling and approval processes.Contribute to the development of marketing plans, tactics and research for ACA programs, products and services.Write and edit marketing content for emails, website, social media and print ads.Manage incoming Communications and Marketing support requests from staff across the organization.Work with ACA's graphic designers to develop brand-aligned creative in support of marketing plans and tactics.Collaborate with ACA's Communications team to build robust social media campaigns that help move the needle in the promotion of ACA programs, products and services.Support analytics management by monitoring and tracking the performance of marketing efforts across all channels, including email, social media, print and website. Leverage data to recommend adjustments to marketing tactics.Assist in logistics for ACA's field marketing efforts, including outlining collateral needs and preparing them for shipment.Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or a related subject, with 2 to 3 years of experience. Experience in an association or other nonprofit organization is preferred.Hands-on experience in executing marketing campaigns, including working with email service providers like Informz, Constant Contact, Mailchimp or similar, utilizing social media management tools and navigating Google Analytics.Strong marketing copywriting skills with experience writing for search engine optimization (SEO) and the ability to convey information in an easy-to-understand, compelling and engaging manner.Proficient use of office software and programs: Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.Efficient project and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work in a deadline-oriented environment.Willingness to stay informed about current trends, research and best practices in the mental health field.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and collaborate.

Location & Flexibility:

Hybrid - must reside within the Washington, DC metro area.
