Autocad Designer

Responsibilities/Expectations:Performs specialized drafting/designing assignments of an advanced natureAssists with the supervision of a unit of drafting/design personnelRecommends work methods, techniques and proceduresProvides technical support, designs, and drawings for sophisticated projectsAssumes responsibility for contribution to the success of a project and continued maintenancePrepares working plans, detail drawings and maps according to standards/specificationsCommunicates with our internal and external business partners to identify needs and satisfactionVerifies plans, designs, drawings, and maps conform to applicable codes/standardsAdvises project partners with scope, schedule and budget definition for new projectsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Associates degree in design or drafting technology and minimum fifteen (15) years drafting experience with ten (10) years focused on independent design assignmentsOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skillsBroad level of industry codes, standards and practicesDetailed knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD and AutoCAD-compatible software such as CADWorx Plant and CADWorx P&ID
