Associate Manager, Content Marketing Services

Role Purpose
Supports Field Marketing through execution of Content Marketing Services, including Enhanced Websites, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Reputation Management, and more.
Key Accountabilities
Works collaboratively with internal and external teams, including Field Marketing Advisory Services managers, copywriters, developers, designers and agency partners.
Executes updates to content and photography on all hotel channels to optimize performance
Performs keyword research to identify high-value search phrases driving qualified traffic
Optimizes on-page elements such as title tags and meta descriptions, and executes updates across hotel listing platforms
Clear understanding of SEO strategy and localization, reviewing content developed by external partners and confirming multiple brands’ tones of voice
Consistently audit and optimize hotel content across multiple digital platforms
Maintains editorial calendar, meets deadlines, and provides follow ups as needed
Understand website performance, and build reports to identify and share optimizations to improve results
Maintain digital marketing best practices, trends, and tools
Benchmark digital activities against those of our peers in the industry; improve content marketing strategy and tactics
Supports development of additional content marketing programs, including social media, PR, Restaurant & Bar Marketing, email marketing, and offer management through omni-channel support.
Supports strategic recommendations from Advisory Services Managers for hotel participation in each content marketing service.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education –
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or Commerce or related disciplines
Additional studies and courses desirable i.e. SEO, Project Management, Revenue Management, Hospitality, Distribution, Marketing, etc.
Experience –
2 - 5 years relevant experience in digital marketing, including website content management, field marketing, channel management, and SEO.
Travel and/or Hotel Industry experience preferred
Strong analytical and business acumen
Technical Skills and Knowledge –
Understanding of hotel industry, particularly in digital marketing
Knowledge across a wide area of digital content marketing disciplines
Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other content management system
Excellent interpersonal, written communications, and data analysis skills, including the ability to write effective marketing copy, proofread, and follow style guidelines
Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to effectively and competently handle multiple projects simultaneously and the flexibility to quickly adapt to changes in work objectives and available technologies
General knowledge of SEO best practices desired
Ability to perform multiple efforts in a fast paced, high growth environment
