Job Description

This role requires 3 days per week (T-W-Th) in the Mettawa, IL office.

The Marketing Manager I/II* will work together with the Associate Director of Marketing and brand team to develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans. This position requires the individual to foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional partners to successfully drive the business in an effective and timely way. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization, with high expectations and accountability on quality of deliverables. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketer seeking to join a high performing team committed to making a difference for patients in the hematology/oncology space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and develop tactics that align to the strategic brand plan for personal and non-personal HCP promotions

Manage internal/external networks, consultants, alliance partnership, and agency partners in collaborative way to drive the business

Develop and review key marketing materials and lead projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process

Collaborate with sales training to ensure effective, impactful, best in class training on promotional tools and programs

Continually evaluate the effectiveness of marketing plans and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate

Lead and participate in multiple cross-functional teams

Work effectively in a fast-paced environment in highly competitive market

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology or healthcare marketing experience

On-market executional experience (navigating through medical/legal/regulatory reviews, VEEVA processes, etc)

Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies including advertising, digital, external and internal partners

Efficient project management and communication capabilities along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Understand and leverage marketplace trends to apply to the marketing plan on an on-going basis

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively cross-functionally

Demonstrated ability to operate quickly and decisively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and demanding environment

Ability to travel per business needs and as required by the company

Job Grade will be determined based on candidate experience level.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​
