August 14, 2024Shift:Job Description Summary:Position Overview:As a Senior Director of Network Modeling and Optimization, you will be responsible for leading and evolving Coca-Cola's supply chain network design and optimization strategies. This pivotal role involves leveraging advanced analytics, mathematical modeling, and optimization techniques to drive strategic decisions, reduce operational costs, and enhance service levels across our global network. Your leadership will ensure our distribution and supply chain networks are resilient, agile, and aligned with our sustainability objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of strategic network optimization models to support global distribution, manufacturing, and logistics operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including OUs, Bottlers, and finance to understand demand forecasts, production capacities, and financial objectives.Utilize advanced analytics and optimization software to identify opportunities for cost reduction, service improvement, and network rationalization.Direct the modeling and scenario analysis for evaluating strategic initiatives, expansion plans, and risk mitigation strategies.Oversee the integration of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria into network design and decision-making processes.Lead a project team of analysts and modelers, providing mentorship and career development opportunities.Communicate complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain optimization and network modeling.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on network modeling, optimization, and analytics in a global context.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, AIMMS, OptiLogic or similar).Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Deep understanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry and global supply chain dynamics.Understanding of franchise business model and ways of working.Commitment to sustainability and implementing responsible supply chain practices.Skills:
