Key Characteristics:A passionate, personal pursuit of JesusA working understanding of the ScripturesAbility to work well within a teamFlexible and CollaborativePeople OrientedProficient understanding of challenges and needs of young peopleAbility to connect well with teenagers and parentsClear CommunicatorHigh EnergySelf-StarterAble to prioritize tasksDuties and Responsibilities:Create a sustainable, Christ-centered ministry for middle school & high school studentsRecruit, develop, and equip key leadersCreatively plan, lead and execute engaging mid-week gatherings for studentsPassionately and effectively communicate God’s Word to both unchurched and spiritually mature studentsSpend time with and develop deep, authentic relationships with studentsPlan, execute, and coordinate events, outreach opportunities and camp experiencesModel a lifestyle that seeks to honor the Lord in all aspectsPray regularly for young people in the church and communityIncorporate youth into various church ministries for His useQualifications:Ability to teach the Word of GodTechnologically capableHighly MotivatedExcellent time management1-3 years of previous Youth Ministry experienceStrong organizational and Leadership skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks1st Year Projects:Develop leadership team for Anchor Church Youth MinistriesDevelop ministry opportunities for both high school and middle school students at Anchor ChurchPrioritize and build strong relationships with current students at Anchor ChurchTo apply for this job, please click here.
