Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.The Global & US Medical Channel Content Director will strategically deliver and create end-to-end medical channel content to enhance the engagement and reach of emerging scientific information. The Director leads medical content strategy and creation, communications, budget management, digital channel selection, and process improvement within the assigned therapeutic area in partnership with Global and US Medical.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:• Create innovative strategic content to support the Specialty Care teams.• Deliver strategic Omnichannel content.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:• Cross-functional relationships across US & Global medical, Specialty Care Field Medical, and Medical Engagement and Impact.• Work closely with external vendors.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• Basic qualifications:o Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.).o Minimum 7 years' experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector with 3+ years' experience in Medical Affairs/Scientific Publications/Medical Communications.TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:• Deliver and execute medical channel content strategies across assigned Specialty Care area to optimize the engagement and reach of emerging scientific data.• Strong track record of written and oral communication skills to develop and present scientific information to varied audiences and articulate messages succinctly.• Support the planning, conceptualization, production, and dissemination of Global & US medical content across internally and externally facing medical channels.• Direct external vendors and manage budgets, timelines, and quality of deliverables.• Strong organizational skills to track numerous tasks for multiple simultaneous projects in a deadline-oriented environment.• Experience with scientific peer-reviewed publications.Hard Skills:1. Experience creating medical content intended for medical professionals.2. Creative out of the box thinking.3. Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.).Nice to have skills:1. Therapeutic Expertise - Rare diseases and/or inflammation and immunology.2.
