DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE SERVICES – BRAND STRATEGY ALTA IT Services has a direct hire opening for a Director of Creative Services with outstanding brand strategy and interpersonal skills to support a respected childcare company.

Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.This is a hybrid position with 2 days a week onsite in Abingdon, MD.JOB SUMMARY The Director of Creative Services is responsible for guiding, developing, and executing creative and branding standards for all company materials, including advertising, marketing, signage, and training materials. As a leader in the Marketing department, the Director of Creative Services drives the development of materials and programs that help differentiate the corporate brand while driving increased brand affinity and growth.This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing. This is an exempt position and is classified as Director for vacation award purposes.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Directly leads the Creative Services team, which currently includes:

Senior Manager Creative ServicesGraphic DesignerCopywriterContent Marketing Specialist

Collaborate with CMO, VP of Marketing, and marketing leadership team to develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with brand standards and meet the vision of the executive leadership team.Ensures all marketing materials and communications across the department comply, align with, and advance the brand across all mediums.Provide strategic insights and creative oversight for key creative functions, including:

Print graphic design services, including mechanicals and pre-press, and production support, including proofing and press checks.Online design for banner advertising, website, and landing pages.Presentation design and support.Advertising copywriting.Multi-media content development.

Along with the Marketing Leadership team, analyze the outcomes of marketing efforts and propose recommendations.Advises on the development and refinement of the brand voice and best practices while simultaneously evaluating opportunities for growth or thoughtful divergence.In partnership with the Marketing Department leadership team, co-develops and refines customer personas, along with relevant marketing implications by persona.Advise on the selection and management of key agency and freelance partners to execute creative and brand materials.Manages external vendors and agencies that contribute to brand and creative development and execution.Provide insights and perspective on key consumer, industry, and marketing trends that will impact the brand’s marketing approach.Develops, supports, or provides marketing-related training related to brand and creativity for new and existing franchisees, Academy directors, and corporate employees.Measures effectiveness of creative and brand tools and processes, refining approach based on feedback and metrics.Provides direct support and counsel on content strategies to both franchise and corporate-owned locations, as needed.JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated creative oversight and/or brand management experience with direct management of in-house team and vendors, preferably with an advertising agency or in-house marketing department.Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrable experience in leading strategy for and implementing successful confluent marketing campaigns.Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills.Strong business management experience.Undergraduate degree in marketing, design, mass/multimedia, communications, business, or a related field, or commensurate experience.Demonstratable experience in the development of successful marketing concepts and branding efforts as part of a confluent campaign.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, as well as web-based protocols (HTML, XML, Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, JavaScript).5% travel for annual conference. Periodic visits to local offices.Salary range:
