What we are looking for:
The Social Media Manager will analyze metrics to execute engaging social media and influencer marketing strategies that connect JARS with target audiences and drive the strategic growth of our channels. This role will focus on increasing engagement, followers, traffic, and brand awareness while implementing social media best practices to grow our eCommerce footprint in all our retail markets. The ideal candidate is a digital marketing expert who is passionate about data analytics and eager to stay abreast of emerging public figures, technologies, and trends.
Social Media Coordinator
The Social Media Coordinator for JARS Cannabis is an analytical, curious, hard-working and fast-moving addition to the marketing team. Our ideal candidate is obsessed with community, connection and conversation. You're the first to identify emerging trends, have a knack for writing compelling copy, and love organizing high-level social calendars. The main focus of this role is managing the day-to-day responsibilities for JARS' social platforms.

Responsibilities:
Curate, schedule, and publish content for social media platforms such as Instagram Feed & Stories, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and more.
Moderate & engage with followers in a regular and timely manner, and foster community interaction across all platforms.
Assist in the ideation and creation of JARS social content and campaigns for new product launches, events, marketing campaigns, other marketing initiatives.
Drives social media growth and engagement initiatives in partnership with JARS marketing team, brand partnerships, and influencer team members.
Monitor key social KPIs for JARS across all platforms
Keep pulse of social media content trends, new platform features, best practices, and provide channel and community insights with actionable next steps on an on-going basis
Stay abreast of the latest trends, news, and developments in the cannabis industry as well as social media platforms.
Ensure all content complies with legal and regulatory guidelines related to the cannabis industry
Actively engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Utilize social media analytics tools to monitor and analyze data points such as engagement, reach, and conversions.
Requirements:
Proven 1-2 years experience in social media or marketing experience required
An interest and knowledge for cannabis products and the industry
Collaborative and curious with an ability to quickly generate ideas and solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content
Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail
Can-do attitude with ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and business needs
Experience with social platforms and features and publishing and reporting tools
