UX Writer

Aquent Studios is looking for a junior to mid-career UX Writer/Content Designer (3-5 years) to join our technology client's growing UX Content team. As a UX Writer, you'll be customer-obsessed, helping to shape experiences that deeply resonate with our customers' needs and curiosities. You'll help drive the overall vision for UX content, use language to solve problems, and make our experiences more accessible while maintaining standards that keep the brand voice consistent.ABOUT YOUWhether you call yourself a UX Writer, Content Designer, Content Strategist, or something else entirely-you're passionate about delivering the right content, to the right people, at the right time. The only thing more exciting than validating a word choice is sharing the value of content design with your team. You love to be fun and playful with your writing, but know when to be clear and direct. More than anything else, you care about good, consistent content no matter the language.WHAT YOU'LL DODesign content that supports user needs and business goals across multiple channels and platforms.Help design cohesive customer journeys and user flows.Write useful, usable, and inclusive interface content. Craft clear, accessible copy for dialogs, empty states, alerts, tooltips, help text, navigation labels, onboarding, and more.Use research insights and data to inform your content choices.Ensure content resonates with diverse groups, and identify opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product marketing, UX designers, developers, and subject matter experts to align messaging with the overall product and business needs.Contribute to style guides, standards, and best practices.Ensure consistency and adherence to brand voice and tone guidelines.Champion good content design while bringing together product managers, UX designers, engineers, and marketers around shared priorities.SKILLS YOU HAVE3+ years of experience creating UX content for global brands.Extra points for bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.Experience incorporating brand voice and tone standards.Demonstrated commitment to the principles of accessibility and inclusion in your content.A passion for design systems and/or accessibility and accessible UX design.Samples or online portfolio of your work and process.Compensation Range: $55-65/hr DOEThe range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
