Aquent Studios is looking for a junior to mid-career Content Designer (3-5 years) to join our technology client's growing UX Content team. As a Content Designer, you'll shape experiences that deeply resonate with our customers' needs by integrating our content design and accessibility strategy into our Design System and Figma libraries. You'll help to drive the overall vision for UX content and accessibility while maintaining standards that keep the brand voice consistent.

About you

Whether you call yourself a UX Writer, Technical Writer, Content Designer, Content Strategist, or something else entirely-you're passionate about accessibility and content design. You'd also describe yourself as a content strategist and systems-thinker who can be pithy but clear in your UX writing, and you know that documentation is essential for a cohesive and accessible user experience.

What you'll doWork cross-functionally with UX, engineering, accessibility specialists, and product managers to determine and document component-specific writing and accessibility guidelines.Research, audit, and update existing accessibility guidelines.Design inclusive and accessible content for UX flows.Help maintain our content design documentation and UX content repository.Help define & document content patterns that scale across surfaces and languages.Help design and maintain the IA of our growing design system documentation.Use research insights and data to inform your content choices.Contribute to our style guides, standards, and best practices.Ensure consistency and adherence to brand voice and tone guidelines across the CX.Preferred skills

3+ years of experience working as a content designer, content strategist, or technical writer.1+ years of experience working with design systems.Experience with Framer, Figma, and Airtable.Experience incorporating brand voice and tone standards.Demonstrated commitment to the principles of accessibility and inclusion in your content.A passion for design systems and/or accessibility and accessible UX design.Samples or online portfolio of your work and process.Compensation Range: $60 -70/hr DOE

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
