Truss / Component Designer Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced EWP Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing engineered wood products such as trusses, beams, and panels, and will play a crucial role in creating accurate and efficient designs that meet project specifications and requirements.

Truss / Component Designer Responsibilities:

Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed drawings and layouts for engineered wood products.Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of the designs.Generate material lists and specifications for manufacturing and construction purposes.Review and revise designs based on feedback and changes in project scope.Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to engineered wood products and construction practices.Truss / Component Designer Requirements:

Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience with project management and coordination is a plus.Must pass required company drug screens as part of drug-free workplace.

Salary Description

$50,000 - $75,000 Annually
