POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Coordinator, College Park Skyhawks will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and activations for all College Park Skyhawks campaigns by specifically working with internal departments, external agencies and partners. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Operations for the Affiliate Leagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and organize marketing campaigns for the College Park Skyhawks.Work with leadership to develop season-long marketing strategies and activations to help drive ticket sales and build the Skyhawks brand.Responsible for covering games and creating social content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitch).Build and manage content calendar across all digital platforms including social, email, web and mobile app.Serve as liaison with Global Partnerships team to deliver on corporate partner contractual assets.Work closely with Marketing Analyst to ensure that social and digital metrics are tracked accurately for reportsOversee tagging process in Sprout for all partner assets, working closely with Social Media Assistants in the processServe as liaison for all digital advertising, OOH Billboard, TV Spot, and Radio teams for promotion needsWork closely with internal creative and video teams to create compelling content that is strategically aligned to campaign and organization initiatives.Attend Skyhawks community events and games to gather content as needed. (Includes nights and weekends)Support day-to-day updates to web and mobile platforms via CMS as needed.Stay current with best practices, strategies and industry standards.REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong writing, grammar and communication skills with good attention to detail.Project management skills: ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.Passion for developing effective digital marketing content.Ability to coordinate and post to social media on behalf of a brand is preferred.Knowledge of basketball and pop culture is preferred.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.3-5 years of experience working in a marketing role within a fast-paced organization.Experience with operating business social media platforms preferred.Experience using Adobe CS (Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, Illustrator) preferred but not required.Experience shooting and editing photos and video preferred but not required.Experience with content management systems a plus.Comfortable in an environment where priorities can shift rapidly; resilient and adaptive to change.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Comfortable with working non-traditional hours (i.e., some nights, weekends, and the occasional holiday may be required).Other duties that may be assigned
