This individual will perform the role of Supervisory, Facility Planning and Project Manager, GS-1640-14.Integrated Support Services is part of The Library of Congress’ enabling infrastructure. ISS provides support to the Library community in the areas of Facility Services, Operations, Logistics Services, Health Services, and Safety Services.The Supervisory, Facility Planning and Project Manager provides support as follows:Translates management’s goals and objectives into effective operationsAssigns responsibilities for carrying out objectivesCoordinates guidelines to improve program policies practices and methodsDevelops program strategies, provides professional customer and technical assistance, and supports on a wide range of issues related to the management and continuing improvement of the programs, policies, and procedures in Space Utilization, Planning and Design (SUPD).Performs a variety of analytical and evaluative studies of issues to determine their actual and potential effectiveness in achieving desired objectives.COR activities including contract management and oversight, procurement actions, as well as finance tracking and invoicingSupervision of assigned staff to include: human resource functions, performance management, leave approval et al.Application and Selection ProcessInterested Candidates should,
