We are seeking an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER. A major responsibility of this position will be to conduct field visits, assess site conditions, and develop architectural solutions. The candidate must be willing to undergo a background check for this position.
*Under the direction of an Architect or other senior managers, you will:** Perform site visits and issue reports,* Develop basic design solutions,* Assist in the development, modification, and review of design drawings and construction documents,* Assist in preparation of architectural documentation to be issued for construction bidding,* Other duties, as assigned.
*Competencies:** Ability to work independently and in a team environment,* Ability to effectively communicate design options to a diverse group,* Knowledge of architecture principles and practices,* Basic understanding of zoning and building codes, including ADA requirements, and an ability to apply that knowledge to projects.
*Minimum requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or higher,* 1-5 years of architectural experience,* Must be proficient in AutoCAD. REVIT experience a plus,* Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook,* Proficient oral and written communication skills.
