Responsibilities

The Undergraduate Studies graphic designer designs and prepares marketing materials for a variety of media platforms including ads, posters, brochures, postcards, e-cards, social media posts, PowerPoint presentations and university publications.Develops content for communications with the UGS stakeholders. This may include departmental newsletters, mass email communications and news releases.Works under supervision of the UGS Director of Media, Communications & Marketing to ensure the department maintains marketing and communications best practices and collaborates on projects with UGS units.Adheres to Florida State's branding standards to maintain a unified and consistent look.Programs used may include: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite products such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, Microsoft Products.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)Must have experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite products such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and Microsoft Products.

Anticipated Salary Range

$18 to $20 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
