WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARYThe Graphic Animation Artist position is a seasonal temporary full-time position for NHL Productions that will be required to create animations and visual effects for television, digital, corporate presentations, and other forms of media.

This position is temporary, full-time with the potential opportunity to become a permanent staff role.

This position would work a hybrid schedule which consists of work from home and 3 days/nights per week as scheduled in the NYC office. The ideal candidate will have flexibility in working hours based on production demands and timelines.

Start date is anticipated for September 19, 2024.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and create storyboards that map out key visual scenes within animationsImplement strong typography skills and graphic design to animate textDesign and build creative, eye-catching pitch decks in collaboration with senior staffCollaborate with senior staff, clients, other animators, and various production staff to review projects, develop timelines and ensure deadlines are metAdjust animations and effects after review from senior staff, co-workers and clientsBudget tracking, time management, technical recommendations for project deliverablesPossible future for Augmented/Mixed Reality graphics and animations integrationQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge Areas/Experience

Required

Candidate must have extensive experience working in a television multimedia production environment and is an experienced motion graphics designerProven creative track record designing in 2d and 3d space while delivering high-end content under tight deadlinesThorough understanding of post-production and all that is required for timely execution of projectsMastery of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator as well as Cinema 4D and Boxx. Adobe Premiere edit experience neededImpressive portfolio of work and the strong technical skills to back it upPreferred

Maya experience a plusAdditional languages a plusEducation/Certifications

Bachelor's degree in computer graphics, art, or a related fieldRequired Skills

Attention to detail; superior organizational and creative skillsMust be very flexible with working hours, as day and night hours, weekdays and weekends are required as well as being on call for last minute production requirements. SALARY RANGE:

$50-70/hour

Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
