Position SummaryTo routinely conceptualize creative solutions that effectively communicate the strategic intent for each assigned product(s) and service(s), and to execute all supportive tactical initiatives to completion.

Expectations

Collaborate with Corporate Communications director, staff and organizational stakeholder partners to conceptualize, design and develop sales, communication and collateral content and materials (both digital and traditional) to support FTJ and FSL. Marketing channels and formats include website, digital, email, social, and print (collateral, brochures, annual reports, flyers, and forms).Interact with copywriters/director to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned product(s) and accounts.Provide multiple solutions/approaches to each assignment as required.Work closely with account coordinators to schedule and monitor all projects.Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each tactic/project.Develop specifications, conduct bidding, participate in vendor selection, and oversee print production for company mailings and other collateral.Advise internal and external clients on all technical visual recommendations and/or issues.Possess solid understanding of the science and market dynamics of assigned product(s) and service(s).Develop creative content for digital marketing and websites.Coordinate with department’s web development associates to assure that marketing initiatives integrate with the FTJ/FSL websites and web marketing activities.Contribute to departmental data reporting and job tracking requirements.Complete all work assigned with accuracy, timeliness, and to standards set by the department head.Manage multiple assignments routinely.Maintain filing system for project files and archiving of completed jobs.Serve as agent, guardian, and advocate of established corporate brand standards and those of the company’s business partners and clients.Continuously exhibit a friendly, collaborative, and inclusive demeanor with all fellow associates, clients, vendors, etc.Actively participate in work-related meetings; contribute ideas and suggestions.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Competencies

The ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and to dependably produce with a minimal amount of input or direction.The ability to take and implement direction as needed.Demonstrated complete understanding of digital and traditional marketing strategics and channels, color theory, typography, ad layout, page composition, print production process, and photography.Demonstrated ability to design and produce solutions, communicate thorough product knowledge, provide effective direction at photo shoots, and oversee the work of freelancers and vendors.Very good or above digital photo-retouching and image development skills.Ability to learn insurance and financial products and services terminology, concepts and practices.Ability to handle complex issues and problems.Planning and decision-making skills.Negotiation skills for communicating with external vendors.Ability to learn and use proprietary software systems.Requisites

Bachelor’s degree and minimum seven years of experience in marketing or advertising industry with a deep understanding of and direct prior experience with creative agency and/or internal corporate marketing department traffic and production coordination.Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat software in a PC environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Proficiency with website development platform(s) (Adobe Experience Manager a plus).Knowledge of, and direct experience with, pre-press and printing/reproduction processes and techniques.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
