WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Global Digital Marketing Specialist for Fitness who will support fresh & distinctive digital strategies and plans that expand Nike’s brand connection & influence for our field of play.

We believe fitness makes athletes better in sport and life. The ideal candidate has experience in fitness, shares our passion for the pursuit of greatness, and is steeped in the culture of fitness, across training for sport, strength, HIIT, yoga, and Pilates as well as the athlete mindset. A strong point of view on opportunities for distinction in the fitness landscape is preferred.

We’re looking for someone who has a finger on the pulse of sport, culture, and youth and who will bring ideas for how Nike can connect and deliver consumer value through our unparalleled innovation and inspiration. Digital marketing experience and calculated risk-taking is key to thriving in this role, as is a deep understanding of the consumer.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll work within the Global Digital Marketing team and perform a critical supporting role to our seasonal offense for Fitness, delivering both disruptive ideas to ignite the brand as well as orchestrating digital experiences to drive growth for Nike’s Fitness footwear and apparel.

In some instances, you will lead plans autonomously. In others, you will work closely with and in support of the Global Digital Marketing Leads on larger scale marketing plans. You will attend and occasionally lead meetings with cross-functional and geo partners to represent the digital conversation in the development and execution of our marketing plans.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

We’re a diverse, inclusive, innovative, and passionate team. These roles will report to the Global Digital Marketing Director for Fitness. As a matrixed organization, you will also work closely and collaboratively with Global Digital Marketing Leads for Fitness, Global Brand Management, Integrated Media, Social, Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative, and Business leads, in Global as well as with Geography partners in North America, APLA, Greater China and EMEA. As needed, you will work with agencies to bring strategies to life.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

You will bring a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of digital marketers who have a passion for sport and crafting meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand. You have a strong understanding of digital marketing/storytelling and sport culture.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training

3+ years of digital marketing experience

Expertise and knowledge of youth culture, athlete mentality, and a genuine excitement and passion for sport and fitness

Great interpersonal skills, teamwork mentality and ability to work well with many different partners across brand, creative, paid media, retail, social & comms

Effective communicator, both written and verbally

An agile mentality and ability to work in a high pace, evolving environment

A bias for action with a strong sense of personal accountability and ability to work autonomously
