JOB SUMMARY:The Director of Marketing and Communications at Agility Bank is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives and communication plans, increasing our women business owner clientele and fostering community focused initiatives that reflect and support our surrounding demographics, brand, products, and services. This role involves leading a team of marketing professionals, overseeing all marketing activities, and ensuring that the bank's messaging aligns with its mission and goals. The Director will work closely with executive leadership to drive growth, enhance customer engagement, and maintain a positive public image.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1.

Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that support the bank's business objectives.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.2.

Brand ManagementOversee the development and maintenance of the bank's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.Manage brand positioning and messaging to enhance the bank's reputation and visibility in the market.3.

Marketing CampaignsPlan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and events.Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.4.

Content CreationSupervise the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and press releases.Ensure that all content aligns with the bank's brand voice and resonates with target audiences.5.

Public RelationsDevelop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and community partners.Coordinate and manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media interviews, and crisis communication.6.

Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Set clear goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.7.

Budget ManagementDevelop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.Monitor expenses and financial performance, adjusting as necessary to stay within budget.8.

Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with executive leadership, sales teams, product managers, and other departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on marketing performance and strategic initiatives.9.

Shareholder/Investor RelationsRespond to shareholder inquiries promptly and professionally.Develop a consistent communication channel for the shareholders of the bankManage and enhance relationships with our shareholders.Engage with current and potential shareholders, providing them with timely and accurate information, and ensuring their needs are met.Monitor and analyze market trends and investor sentiment to provide insights to the executive team.Assist in the preparation of earnings releases, annual reports, and other financial disclosures.REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:This position will report to the President of the BankSUPERVISORY:This position is a supervisory position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the financial services industry.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESSound knowledge of banking and bank marketing.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a creative mindset.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, SEO, SEM, and analytics.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking industry is a plus.JOB TYPE/LOCATIONIn PersonFull timeHouston, TXSalaryBENEFITS:401(k) matchingPaid time offHealth InsuranceVision & Dental InsuranceInterested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and portfolio of relevant work to info@agility.bank.
