Job Description:

Serves as a project coordinator for the public relations program for activities of Highland Hospital and its off-sites. This position also assists with the management of social media relations, special events, community relations, neighbor relations, sponsorships and internal communications needs as assigned.

Salary Range:

$61,000-$87,500 annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or English preferred.

Experience: At least three – five years experience working in public relations and/or journalism preferred. Candidate should have a strong portfolio of printed pieces. Health care experience is strongly preferred.

License/Certification Required: N/A

Skills:

Interpersonal communication skills are required.

Must be able to write concise and compelling copy on deadline using AP Style.

Intermediate photography, videography, and editing skills.

Intermediate graphic design skills.

Knowledge of content creation tools such as Kapwing, Canva, and Adobe a plus.

Manage multiple projects concurrently, and work collaboratively with internal and external customers. Position requires an individual with a strong work ethic who is a self-starter
