$55-$60/hourWe are seeking Contract Instructional Designers to support a packaged consumer goods client.We're looking for motivated self-starters who are comfortable wearing multiple hats and who thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment. You must be forward-thinking, highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once. These individuals will work closely with key internal stakeholders to maintain consistency of content and will play a meaningful role in the development of a successful and effective knowledge base. The role will be multi-faceted — you will attend stakeholder meetings, take thorough notes, and be responsible for transferring that knowledge into clear process document templates. These process documents will serve as the foundation for future content development efforts that you will design, develop and deliver to learners.This position is a temporary (contract) role that could be extended or shortened as needed; work can be done remotely with personal equipment and software.In This Contract Role You Will:Provide top-notch instructional design skills to support a number of technology transformation and implementation projects with our clients and strategic partners.Develop course outlines and design documents; create scripts and storyboards for various delivery methods for our clients.Work directly with system and process SMEs to identify learning objectives and translate into learning content.Attend project-specific meetings with internal and client teams for all assigned projects/programs.Participate in collaboration meetings with contract IDs and creative staff to support graphic/visual development.Work directly with the client to design and develop courses that support learning needs.Design and develop courses that support the learning needs of our clients.Present course design and materials to internal and client team members and incorporate feedback.Validate, deliver, and evaluate the final training program and/or job performance product.Ensure that the courses meet the learning objectives and make necessary adjustments.Design and develop performance measures for our clients’ learning programs.Recommend appropriate learning strategies based on client priorities/objectives and learner needs.Perform other duties as assigned.What You'll Bring:Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent years of work experience3 - 5 years experience in instructional design/writingStrong client services skills; able to work independently and lead collaboration sessions with the ClientOracle Cloud ERP experience requiredArticulate Rise experience requiredExperience creating standard operating procedures and process documents preferredDemonstrated experience delivering vILT training, ideally via Microsoft TeamsDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Teams, etc.)Exceptional presentation/facilitation skills and written communication skills to varying management levelsStrong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projectsMust be able to self-motivate and demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to independently perform effectivelyComfort working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving remote environmentOur Culture:We are not a typical learning company.
