Essential DutiesCreate and distribute print and digital marketing for the Office of Undergraduate Research on campusUpdate information on the OUR websiteAssist with Office of Undergraduate Research event planning (e.g. fall workshops, spring Undergraduate Research Conference, etc.)Attend Undergraduate Research Advisory Committee (URAC) meetings as a student representative (when able)Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications

Familiarity with designing flyers, posters, social media content, or other marketing materialsExperience planning and coordinating public eventsExperience with content creation applicationsExcellent written communication skills

Job Description Summary

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is seeking a Publicity and Marketing assistant interested in fostering undergraduate research at MUW. This position will help maintain the OUR website, create marketing content for events and programs, disseminate information about the OUR to campus communities, and be a student representative for the program. This position will work with the OUR coordinator and the Undergraduate Research Advisory Committee (URAC) to cultivate the mission of the OUR and to expand research and creative opportunities to all students, no matter their background or major.
