Northwestern State University's Office of University Recruiting is seeking qualified applicants for the position, Coordinator of Marketing and Events, Office of University Recruiting.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required with 1-2 years' experience working in marketing, public relations or event related area.

Prefer applicants with experience working in an educational environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills and demonstrate ability in working with high school and college age students.

Job Concepts

Manage all social media accounts and create content, campaigns, and engagement throughout the year as it relates to the recruitment timeline.

Develop content through video and mixed media to aid in the marketing of the recruitment process.

Plan, manage, and execute events related to the recruiting process, such as: N side View preview Days, Counselor Luncheons, Recruiting Receptions, Spirit Group Auditions, Cheer Camps, and other events managed through the Recruiting Office.

Manage purchasing for office through state budget.

Daily, weekly, and monthly reports which evaluate individual accountability in the marketing of student recruitment.

Represent the University in a positive manner at all times. Perform all job functions to an optimal degree to create a caring, student-oriented campus.

Work-related travel, to include extensive overnight and some out-of-state training and conferences.

General involvement in other admissions and recruiting duties as assigned by the Director.
