If you have a passion for big concepts, the craft of art direction and design, and bringing a brand to life through culture-changing ideas that make a difference in the world, join us as an Associate Creative Director - Art Director on our visionary marketing team.Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Creative, you'll work closely with team members across departments to help establish the creative look of the UCLA Health brand. Your design solutions will help enhance brand perception through impactful marketing campaigns, differentiate and strengthen UCLA Health's reputation, and increase market awareness, preference, and loyalty. Ultimately, your work will evoke an emotional connection that helps us achieve our goals for patient acquisition, staff/student recruitment, development, and retention, and business growth.We're looking for a recognized creative leader with a high degree of expertise in creative concepting and art direction, paired with exceptional design capabilities. You must be hands-on in delivering extraordinary work while inspiring vendor partners and team members to do the same. You'll leverage strategic insights and approaches to develop highly targeted creative campaigns and brand marketing, forming the foundation for all our creative initiatives. Your high level of craftsmanship will apply across all media, including video, digital, experiential, social, and print.You'll work as a dynamic duo with the Associate Creative Director - Copywriter while collaborating with senior leaders, executives, and department colleagues, the David Geffen School of Medicine, Development, and the entire enterprise. You'll need to be a demonstrated advertising expert with the unique ability to solve novel issues without precedent or structure. You may also be called on to formulate strategies and administer policies, processes, and resources. The full salary range for this position is $92,600 to $202,200 annually . The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately $130,000 to $170,000 annually.Qualifications

*Minimum five years of demonstrated experience as a strategy and creative leader, with a proven track record in overseeing brand creative.

*Can establish departmental goals and objectives while functioning with autonomy.

*Ability to seamlessly interface and align a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders around a unified strategic vision.

*Five years of hands-on creative experience working across diverse media channels, including digital, social, TV, print, OOH, and experiential.

*Proven ability to build meaningful relationships across a large organization and unify teams around a shared vision.

*Strong storytelling skills.

*Ability to work on multiple projects, remain positive and calm under pressure and is solution oriented.

*Serve as a mentor to less senior staff.
