Job Description

We’re looking for a

Senior Marketing Manager

to lead the development of engaging and creative marketing campaigns that fuel growth for our JOHN REED Fitness brand. In this role, you will support overall brand and campaign strategy, create programming and event concepts, manage day-to-day brand marketing activities, and play an integral part of bringing our mission and vision to life. This role is based out of our Los Angeles Support Office.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and support overall consumer marketing strategy for JOHN REED North America for both existing clubs and new openings

· Own the development of marketing and campaign strategies for both brand awareness and sales across various channels, from social, email, paid media, and out-of-home for JOHN REED North America

· Oversee campaign creative development with the in-house creative team, develop creative briefs, provide feedback and direction for copy, digital, video, and print assets

· Develop and lead programming concepts for existing clubs, from small to large-scale events, and partner with the events manager who will drive execution

· Create and implement engaging marketing messaging for our existing members, predominately via email communications

· Oversee local promotion strategy and execution in existing markets

· Manage and maintain website content and messaging

· Create and own goals and performance metrics for campaigns; and monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement

· Manage project tracking, project stakeholders, and budgets to ensure all deadlines, deliverables, and objectives are met on time

· Create and deliver clear and compelling strategy presentations to senior stakeholders

· Bring big ideas to the table, and work collaboratively with internal teams and departments to bring them to life

Competencies Qualifications:

· Minimum 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a related industry

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication or related degree preferred

· Passion for fitness, music and lifestyle brands

· Comfortable operating at highly strategic and tactical levels, switching between them effortlessly

· High familiarity with digital advertising platforms and analytics

· Must be proactive and possess strong organization and prioritization skills

· Must have a high attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and always looking for ways to push RSG brands forward while keeping on top of the day-to-day

· Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly in various modes with all departments, while understanding and react to their individual needs

· Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

· Must be flexible and reliable team player internally and externally

· Ability to travel to various fitness clubs as needed

· Ability to work outside of normal business hours on occasion (such as events and/or travel)

Annual Compensation: $90,000 - 100,000 a year
