blue sky communications is seeking an account executive who is looking for the opportunity to learn and grow in the ever evolving Public Relations and Communications world. This role will be an active member of a variety of BEAUTY accounts. Position will report directly to the Vice President and Owner of blue sky. This is a fully remote position with the exception of events.

Responsibilities
Administrative:
Monitoring for all social and media placements
Overseeing monthly and weekly client reports
Drafting and sharing media alerts to clients in real time
Developing media lists
Drafting press releases and pitches
Overseeing inventory
Executing award submission
Participating in creative brainstorms
Publicity:
Beauty & commerce contacts
Pitching
Securing editor rsvp’s for events and brand interactions
Launch mailings to editors and influencers
Release, pitch, eblast writing
Familiarity with Muck Rack, Connectively, SOS, etc to identify and pursue contacts, leads
Influencer marketing skills:
Manage paid influencer campaigns
Research potential partners
Budgeting
Fluency and familiarity negotiating Instagram posts, reels, stories, etc, TikTok content, usage, etc
Contract drafting
Creative brief drafting
Results reporting
Maintaining paid & organic influencer relationships
Passion for TikTok and Instagram, follow content creators in our field
Skills & Requirements:
Organized, attention to detail
Client facing, professional
Self-motivated working remotely with a small team
Follow-up on everything
Flexible and able to thrive in a small agency model
Strong work ethic, positive attitude
Any interest in small scale social media assistance, a plu
Strong writing skills
Resourceful and willing to learn
Must be proficient in Microsoft office
Knowledge in muck rack, meltwater and klear a plus
BA/BS in marketing or communications
