SummaryWe're seeking a dynamic public relations professional with a go-getter attitude. You'll play an integral role in the day-to-day efforts for our PR clients. This position is responsible for implementing media relations, influencer, corporate communications, and experiential marketing strategies.The ideal candidate has two to four years of public relations experience with a strong background in media relations, writing, influencer partnerships, and event planning; previous agency experience and exposure to Food & Beverage and tourism industries are preferred. This exciting position offers the opportunity for growth with the chance to work across clients and teams for TimeZoneOne and our parent company, Schafer Condon Carter.Responsibilities:Demonstrates understanding and command of traditional and digital PR tactics including:Influencer MarketingManage partner identification and vetting, contract negotiation, content development, and program reporting/measurementMedia RelationsSuccessfully pitch, secure, and measure placements for B2C and B2B outletsHave a deep understanding of the media landscape and news value with the ability to adapt/pivot to new pitch anglesDevelop media materials including pitches, press releases, media alerts, talking points, and media briefsConduct media research and monitoring with strong attention to detailStaff media interviewsProficient in AP style, Cision, Meltwater, and other monitoring softwareManage monthly media and influencer reports for clientsEvent Planning/FacilitationManage details surrounding event execution, including planning, logistics, and recapsOccasional weekend and evening event attendance is required based on activationsCorporate CommunicationsDevelop talking points, speeches, and visual presentations for industry events for senior leadershipSupport thought leadership initiativesStaff industry eventsDesired Skills and Experience2-4 years of public relations or similar marketing communication experience; agency experience preferredIndependent thinker who is not afraid to share their POVStrong listening, communication, organization, writing, and presentation skillsDemonstrates poise and leadership potentialShows initiative on a daily basis in both small and large tasksAbility to multitask, deal with multiple client contacts, and manage projects across accountsAbility to develop visual Powerpoint or Keynote decks with attention to detailBenefitsAt TZO, we believe in taking care of our team, and that includes providing a range of benefits designed to enhance your life both personally and professionally.
