Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Marketing Manager’s primary responsibilities are to develop strategic marketing plans, create multichannel communication plans with metrics to manage outcomes, and execute their successful implementation. The Marketing Manager will retain and grow revenue and market share position. Responsible for supporting marketing leadership in strengthening AAAHC’s brand equity and identity, this position is the AAAHC marketing enterprise lead in the health care market landscape. This role directs outreach across multiple marketing target audiences including clients and internal AAAHC departments. The role requires competency in marketing utilizing clinical, regulatory, market, and Standards knowledge to leverage the value proposition for market strategy and launch of innovative product/service and marketing solutions, which requires a deep understanding of segmentation, market penetration strategies, and analytical thinking.

Design, coordinate and implement market research efforts and analyze market trends, integrating findings into marketing and business development; analyze existing products, services, and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, and grow revenueCreate, implement, and measure the success of marketing utilizing GA4 Google AnalyticsEnhance and extend brand identity through public relations, internal and external communications, art direction, conference exhibits, social media, digital marketing, vendor and contractor management, website content, and usabilityCreate multichannel campaigns with email automation to drive client engagement and retention with measured resultsMonitor competitive marketing efforts and provide insights to guide investment in MBD budget and resources, and AAAHC messagingDrive market growth by guiding the development and execution of AAAHC’s market penetration and expansion strategy and managing contact lists of current and prospective clients to foster AAAHC’s unique value proposition and profitably grow revenueDevelop go-to-market strategy for segments. Execute strategic and tactical initiatives using creative briefs to scope project deliverables including:

Promotions – Initiate and execute channel promotional plans, set calendar of events, and conduct pre- and post-promotion analysisTradeshows / Meetings – Create exhibit strategy, tradeshow/event design and planning with input on tradeshow calendar and monitor competitive attendance at tradeshows, and occasionally attend and/or support business development meetings as necessarySales Collateral / Education – Work closely with cross-functional partners to create compelling marketing materials

Deliver communications that are on brand and fulfill the needs of the organization for brand leadership through strong PPT and Word Template designs; maintain AAAHC Style GuideDevelop print and digital advertisement budget; manage approval process; calendarize ads, create ad messaging, submit artwork per deadlines, and maintain vendor relationshipsManage marketing vendor relationships and provide input for associated expensesDevelop and manage revenue and expense by providing analysis for campaign effectiveness across service lines and market segmentsOrganize, develop, and present current and prospective client presentations on AAAHC services, timely topics, and market performanceDevelop and maintain a high level of AAAHC product knowledge. Seek and analyze information on ambulatory health care competition, market and industry trends, and discern how this could impact the business and adapt to changing conditionsCommunicate proactively to the direct manager, including regular, detailed status updates, and when needed, to upper management and relevant stakeholdersDemonstrate proficiency in the 1095 Engage, accreditation management systemMinimum Qualifications and Job-specific Competencies Required

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related fieldAt least five years of progressive marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibilityDemonstrated experience in strategic planning, critical and analytical thinking, and collaboration with executive, business development, product development, and key operational groupsStrategic mindset and creative thinker with strong business sense and excellent financial competency with the ability to make difficult decisions with strong problem-solving skillsDemonstrated skillset to create multichannel communications plans with email automation using a digital marketing platformMid-level marketing professional with a proven track record of success managing complex multidiscipline market scenarios; demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns which include market analysis, client insights, and project plansAbility to understand highly complex specialty products/services with a long sales cycle and develop strategic plans to find opportunities to maximize performance and growth; ability to develop and manage expense and revenue budgetsProven, successful track record as an individual contributor and/or manager who has grown top-line results; works independently with minimal supervision; effective team playerExcellent communicator (verbal, written, presentation) with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders inside and outside of the organization; lead and manage changeMicrosoft Office Proficient (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in business with a focus in marketing strongly preferredExperience in the health care industry, medical device or life sciences technology-driven company preferredKnowledge of health care accreditation and the regulatory environment a plusExperience with Constant Contact email automationExperience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques preferredPhysical Requirements
