The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding an experienced Designer to join our growing Fire Protection team in Spokane, WA. As a Designer, you will work projects in the Inland Northwest and Central Washington regions. If you have at least 1 year experience, are proficient in Revit or AutoCAD, HydraCAD preferred then this may be the role for you. Other responsibilities for this role include:
Starting from Sale handoff, you will be expected to create project specific layouts to meet project specifications, published standards, as well as state and local building codes.
Make necessary changes and provide detailed feedback to Senior designer.
Attend BIM coordination meetings.
Assist in submittal package including hydraulic calculations.
Assist fellow designers on additional projects
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
1-3 years work experience required.
Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience with HydraCAD, AutoCAD & Revit required.
Experience with Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems required.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time required.
Ability to deal with conflict and build positive team relationships required.

The pay range for this position is $22.33 - $31.94 per hour; however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
