Geographic Information Systems Analyst

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this position is to coordinate, analyze and design methods and procedures for the development of a centralized GIS database application. This is accomplished by providing data collection/verification, CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) map maintenance, special address maintenance, support GIS developing/implementation, systems analysis, programming, and database administration for GIS applications.JOB REQUIREMENTS:-Description of Minimum Job Requirements-Experience-Related Requirements Over four years and up to and including eight years.Vocational/ Educational Preparation Requires Bachelor's degree or education and training equivalent to four years of college education in business, liberal arts, or any field other than engineering or the hard sciences.Application support/GIS background with preference as a true GIS Analyst3 - 4+ years of GIS experienceARC GIS/ARC MapCompensation:$25.00/hr to $50.00/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
