Our client is going through a period of impressive growth, working to overturn the vast educational inequities that block opportunities for children by providing them with exceptional public education.The Associate Creative Director is a problem-solver who thrives on delivering conceptually powerful, compelling, on-strategy, and detail-oriented executions against creative briefs. Beyond a mastery of design skills and software, the designer is proactive, self-motivated, passionate, a team-player and hungry. They are constantly cultivating a strong knowledge and mastery of the education sector, design and advertising industry practices and technical skills alike.This is a hybrid position based out of the Financial District in New York City.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong, strategically sound concepts from brief to production for small and large campaignsExcellent communication skills; engages right team members at the right points, manages up as neededConsistently deliver work on time, to the right degree of finish at each stage, and high qualityEfficiently manage project workload for day-to-day needsEffectively expand upon the boundaries of our design work with respect for the core tenets of our brand to deliver inspired, fresh creative that still maintains brand consistencyCollaborate with other agency teams including digital, social, video, and project managementMaintains strong working knowledge of media as appropriate to ensure work maintains best practices by platformEffectively manage and direct copywriters, photographers, illustrators, printers, retouchers, and other vendors as needed on a per-project basisEffectively manage and direct freelance and junior designers in support of the organization's short and long term goalsStrong presentation skills, clearly explaining how concepts will deliver against the strategic/ business/ creative goals to senior stakeholdersLiaise with stakeholders and project managers to ensure deadlines are metRequirementsA minimum 3-5 years of experience, ideally in an agency environmentBachelor's Degree in relevant fieldStrong conceptual and design thinking skillsMastery of Adobe Creative Suite, designing for Google Suite, and relevant design softwareStrong knowledge of best practices for digital (web, landing pages, email), print, social media, and video formatsExcellent organizational and communication skills; attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization and project managementThrives in a fast-paced, self-motivated, deadline-driven environment.Problem-solves with enthusiasmAddresses feedback quickly and collaborates effectivelyStays up-to-date with industry developments and toolsBase salary:
