Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Strategic Communication Coordinator, will manage project life-cycle from production to completion; work collaboratively with programs and departments to ensure marketing needs are met; monitor social media outlets and develop brand content; produce creative, high-quality, error-free collateral in a timely manner and in compliance with University and campaign-specific standards; research items for collateral and assist with selection, order, and delivery process. Assist in maintaining and building divisional websites in compliance with the web governance and ODC best practices.

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Position Qualifications: The Program Specialist must possess project management skills; strong design, communication and prepress knowledge and skills, and be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with University staff, students, contracted partners and vendors. Ability to follow established visual identities as well as receive constructive feedback on projects. Be organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills. Meet deadlines and produce work in a timely and efficient manner.

Photography, videography, website content management. Participate in various University committees.

Preferred Qualifications Working towards or obtained a degree in a design-related field; significant experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with web content management and chatbot systems, HTML, AP Style, Jira, and Slate CRM.

Essential Functions / Job Duties:

30% - Work collaboratively with programs and departments within the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Affairs to create marketing collateral to achieve departmental objectives; cultivate relationships among community stakeholders including faculty, staff, students and vendors. - (Essential)60% - Manage assigned design project requests as well as the production life-cycle of individual projects from timeline development to delivery of finished products; produce creative, high quality, error-free collateral in a timely manner and in compliance with University and campaign-specific standards; keep detailed records of projects in electronic ticketing system; research items for collateral and assist with the selection, ordering and delivery process. - (Essential)10% - Serve on campus committees and workgroups to achieve divisional objectives; assist with annual meetings/staff development events; review staff and student projects for quality and compliance; photography/videography as needed; monitor social media outlets; other duties as assigned. - (Essential)
