Description

The Marketing Director is responsible for managing and providing the leadership necessary to maintain the company's marketing and sales technology functions in a multi-state and multi-channel environment. The candidate will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to develop the strategic direction of the Marketing department and the company Marketing Plan. The candidate will lead the creative development of marketing materials, facilitate marketing campaigns, develop and execute the company's communication strategy, create and oversee internal and external communication pieces, as well as manage the team of corporate marketing professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the company's Management Team to develop and achieve the Marketing strategic goals and Marketing Plan for the company

• Create, implement and oversee marketing efforts that effectively promote and continue to establish the SNMC brand internally, with our sales team, for our borrowers, and for our referral partners

• Lead and delegate the development of new collateral, in print, email, and social media platforms available to sales staff to increase business and develop referral partner relationships

• Develop and design recruitment campaigns in print, email and social media platforms to assist in recruiting sales and support staff throughout the company

• Work with Web Developer to plan, implement and maintain a consistent graphics look and feel across Security National Mortgage's Internet and Intranet presence

• Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content as it relates to the marketing department

• Oversee regular activity on SNMC social media channels including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn

• Oversee the onboarding process of new branches and new employees from a Marketing standpoint

• Manage process, protocol and marketing vendors with CMO and the team

• Work closely with Compliance to provide all requested materials for external state audits

• Manage, facilitate and coordinate company communications such as Zoom Calls, Trainings and similar marketing led communication experiences

• Annually update and align with the Business Continuity Plan for Marketing Department

• Respond to incoming questions regarding specific marketing pieces, campaigns, platforms and other general marketing questions

• Maintain the service level agreement standards for the SNMC Marketing Department projects advertised internally with the sales field stakeholders. These SLAs range in the completion time frame dependent upon the channel requested such as print assets, presentations, and digital projects.

• Maintain a high commitment to employee development. Works with direct reports to set performance standards that are specific and measurable, as well as consistent with company culture and core values.

• Provide on-going training with direct reports to ensure employee knowledge base allows for an exceptional level of customer service, while limiting risk

• Maintain an agile knowledge and familiarity with modern technologies required to adequately succeed in this role and develop other professionals in their specialties within the department

• Source and implement new technology products for loan originators

• Work closely with outside vendors to remain on top of changes to technology, promotional items, and events

• Ensure that an environment of teamwork is always maintained

• Maintain the highest possible level of customer service

• Ability to back-up and support the marketing team as needed, when roles are absent

• Assist with daily problem-solving and troubleshooting through applied expertise and an agile skillset to define and resolve issues as they arise

• Interface with other departments as necessary to ensure the smooth operation and growth of the Organization.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of marketing related work experience preferred; minimum of 3 years managerial experience

• Expert level of computer literacy and expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, CRM Systems, and Project Management Platforms preferred

• Experience in the residential mortgage industry preferred

• Ability to create and execute brand campaigns through social media outlets including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn

• Ability to create and execute e-mail marketing campaigns for internal and external customers that align with a wide variety of the audiences they serve

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to deliver a high level of responsiveness to both internal and external customers

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

• Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and organize priorities in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy

• Projects a positive attitude, demonstrates expert level of mentorship, and sets a good example for others

• Addresses performance issues in a timely manner and documents incidents and demonstrates equality in disciplinary actions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

• Must be able to listen and speak clearly via telephone

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk while working on a computer
