This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Personal Care team. This position will report to the General Manager, PC, NA.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Drive regional marketing strategy and voice to market for Ashlands Core portfolioPartner with global marketing to ensure alignment in the innovation processWork with key customer partners to map the path to new platform adoptionOwnership and steering of commercial external partnershipsExtensive partnering with R&DIn order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:A minimum of a Bachelors degreein a technical field10 years in a technical B2C role influencing innovation, as well as robust B2B experienceMust come from the Personal Care Ingredients IndustryExperience leading a team and driving strategy development and adoptionTravel up to 40% mostly domestic but some internationalAbility to be a self-starter, work independently, and function in ambiguityThe following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:Master degree or aboveBrand experience as well as ingredient supplier experienceFive years of management experienceIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
