ABOUT THE ROLE -

The Retail Marketing Associate's primary role is the responsibility for planning, executing, reporting and analyzing opportunities to increase sales, traffic, market share, and brand awareness for our retail division. The position necessitates strong math skills, good negotiation skills, and general knowledge of creative and production practices to assure marketing activities are executed on time. Punctuality, good time management and organization skills are necessary to meet deadlines, and a high attention to detail is expected at all times.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

The candidate for this position will support all retail stores. He/she will possess strong organizational, planning and execution skills as well as analytical experience to ensure success in the following key functions:Plan, select and execute promotional advertising under the guidance of the Retail Marketing Manager, including:

Maintain retail related content on website ensuring up to date and accurate (hours of operation, store management profiles, events schedule, upcoming openings, etc.)Coordinate and execute email campaigns to drive customers to retail locations

Understand and choose products for email campaigns and other relevant promotional features.

Coordinate and develop vendor events to ensure calendar is planned in advance for proper execution.

Complete analysis post events to determine effectiveness for vendor and overall store performance.

Collectively organize and execute both consumer and employee eventsCoordinate with design, merchandising, photography, IT on the development of campaigns; reviewing all campaigns for accuracy, and ensuring on time delivery of creativeReview and provide feedback in contentEnsure promotions are set up on all internal systems and websitesReport and analyze results, and recommend future activityResearch and recommend activation ideasAdhere to budget to drive traffic and meet acquisition and sales goals

Serve as liaison to retail team, ensuring consistent execution across store network, providing marketing support for store events, posting event-related information on social media, and providing guidance to individual store personnel on engaging our retail store followers at the store levelSupport retail management in vendor facing marketing initiativesParticipate in researching, planning and launching new marketing initiativesSupport retail management with professional promotional material request and executionLocal event coordinationSupport and participate in other shared service department processes, analysis and projects as requestedMonitor and report competitors' marketing and sales activitiesCompetencies:

Minimum 1 year experience managing print or digital advertising placements (can be from vendor, customer or agency perspective)Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business (preferred)Highly organized, analytical, financial savvy with strong planning and negotiation skillsAble to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, while maintaining meticulous attention to detailStrong communication skills including creating and delivering presentations; interacting verbally and in writing with external vendors and colleagues at various levels within the organizationUnderstands the need for meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, and knowledge of approval proceduresAgile approach to changing priorities and deadlinesComfortable working independently, yet not afraid to ask questions or escalate issues as neededProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; past experience in using Excel to perform analysisPlease provide a cover letter outlining your interest in this opportunity.
